Creative expression. Confident futures.

Neurodivergent education,
done right.

Because school can feel better than this.
Opening in September 2026, L&L Academy of Arts & Education is a K–12 school where autistic and neurodivergent students get a joyful, arts‑centered education that nurtures self‑expression, reciprocal learning, and the skills needed for a fulfilling life.
Our approach

The L&L Academy Difference

We didn’t just tweak the model.
We rebuilt it around neurodivergent learner and made arts the unlock for learning and growth.

Neurodivergent-Affirming by Design

Our classrooms are designed for emotional safety and learner agency, while aligning to core standards. Communication differences, including AAC, movement, scripting, or silence, are respected as valid and meaningful ways of learning.

Arts Are the Pathway, Not the Extra

Arts aren’t just enrichment, they're the primary pathway to access growth. Visual art, music, theater, dance, creative writing and more are embedded across academic instruction and supporting programs in a way that works for neurodivergent learners.

Learning for Real Life

At L&L, we focus on skills that matter beyond the classroom, including communication, self-advocacy, collaboration, problem-solving, and independence, so that students are prepared for meaningful, fulfilling lives on their own terms.

Reciprocal Learning, Peer Connection

Learning is social, but never forced—connection happens with intention. Students learn in small, structured groups and through partnerships with local schools and community programs, fostering authentic connection and mutual learning.

Growth You Can See

Progress is measured through portfolio-based assessment rather than high-stakes testing. Learning is documented over time through work, projects, performances, and reflection, giving families and educators a clear, honest picture of growth and development.

Family Partnership & Transparency

Families are essential partners in learning. We prioritize clear communication, shared reflection, and meaningful collaboration through regular portfolio sharing, accessible updates, and active participation in planning for growth and transition.
